Hi!

my name is aanisah (aa-nee-sah).

i’ve been drawing for as long as i can remember. i left school early in 2016, unsure of what direction i wanted to take but art was the one constant i kept returning to. i’ve always been drawn to people: their stories, their strength, and the emotions they carry. my work often reflects those who inspire me, whether it’s individuals i admire or entire communities showing resilience in the face of injustice.

i recently completed my largest painting yet, a piece focused on the ongoing genocide in gaza, a subject close to my heart and a turning point in my creative journey.
